Identidades Subrayadas (Highlighted identities) is a long-term project composed of portraits, conversations and carefully curated studio sessions with trans, non-binary and queer people of my local community at different stages of their journeys.
This work resists spectacle and embraces nuance. It celebrates each subject’s presence, personality, and voice, committing to a slow, collaborative practice that prioritizes consent, agency, and tenderness. Identidades Subrayadas aims to be a living testimony to the political, personal, and vulnerability of becoming, of claiming space, and of being seen on one’s own terms.
This project is a celebration of identities often pushed to the margins, a visual act of empowerment and collective memory.
